What size should the social image be?
For the summary_large_image card, 1200×630 pixels is the widely-supported standard and looks crisp on most platforms. Use an absolute URL so crawlers can fetch it.
How is this different from the meta tag previewer?
The generator builds tags from a form; the previewer takes existing HTML and shows how it renders plus an audit checklist. Use the generator to create tags and the previewer to verify a live page.
